Yamaha TW Zero
Even though this TW was finished very recently, we named it “Zero”.
Because this bike is in fact the very first TW we ever worked on. 5 years ago. Since then, we increased our knowledge and we naturally offered its owner an upgrade, which we judged necessary.
We can be nice sometimes, can’t we?

The donor bike is a Yamaha 125 cc TW:
- The whole bike has been matt dark grey powder coated;
- the subframe has been bespoke made (shortened by over 30 cm).

- bespoke “electric box” welded to the frame;
- bespoke seat designed to perfectly match the newly designed subframe.

An Automoto gas tank (French brand from the 50’s – 60’s) has been adapted on this bike.
As usual, “mounted as found”.

A genuine Marchal headlight (dedicated for 70’s rally car) has been been matt grey powder coated and adapted to the bike.

And of course, a vintage rally car headlight produces a yellow light. Really “chic”.

When we say “mounted as found”, we mean it: we even kept the price wanted by the seller on the day we found this tank in a swap meet.

And of course, we could resist: we simplified the electric wiring and used the mini switches we like so much.
